Day Eight. 6.1 miles. In the rain.
More rain. But we had oilskins. Nice bright orange ones. You can just about pick them out against the grey sea and grey sky in the shot above. Not that those made much difference when it all kicked off.
None of that spoiled a thoroughly entertaining trip around the islands in the waters off of Skye, seal, puffin and shipwreck spotting, and learning about some of the more remote fragments of our wee corner of the planet. Recommended, as long as you don't mind having a wet arse for most of the trip.
Waited for the rain to stop and the weather improve before heading out for my bike run. It didn't, so another short dash. And, funnily enough, wet through again.
A bit drier this time last year...
