So... no snow whatsoever (lying) down here in the Wee County today. Yet it looked like there was a fair skelp of the white stuff being lain down all around us. Driving up the Sheriffmuir Road it was strange experience to go from snow-free to snow within a few hundred yards. Nothing major, but it was most definitely snow.
After almost losing the car door when the wind whipped it open, then beating a retreat as my left ear froze solid with it whipping in from the north, I sought shelter down by the Cocksburn Reservoir to watch the sin dip below the Gargunnock Hills.
Standing here freezing my bee-holicks off in the best of the February weather, I could still appreciate the fact that these views are a mere 15 minute drive from the front door.
